The Cooma Rifle Club Inc has been in continuous operation for over 120 years, with origins dating back to the Crimean and Boer Wars when Queen Victoria introduced the Queens Prize Shoot to improve marksman skills. Since then the club has been supporting generations of full bore competitive shooters, local landowners and hunters to learn the fine art of precision shooting, and providing a supportive environment to practice shooting and safe handling of long arms.
